One of the few places in Kenya that you can see both White Rhino and the critically endangered Black Rhino. Perfect for game driving, bird-watching and hiking.

    Soysambu Conservancy

    From dawn till dusk, there is always something to watch at Lake Elementaita in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley. There are over 10,000 mammals and over 450 species of birds to spot, among them the endangered white pelican that breeds there. The main stars though are the huge flocks of flamingos - both of the lesser and greater variety - that turn vast swathes of the lake a rose-petal pink. Learn more about conservancy here.

    Kenya offers some of Africa’s most outstanding riding. With over 48,000 acres of pure Soysambu wilderness, traversing this vast expanse of game filled land on horseback with Lake Elementaita and the Great Rift Valley as a backdrop is a wholly enjoyable experience. Riding across open plains filled with zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and gazelle is absolutely exhilarating. From the Soysambu Stables, riding excursions are generally 2-3 hours in the mornings and/or afternoons.
